Amanda’s Pick – Bobo’s Oat Bars

Written by Southlake CM on Sunday, May 23 2010

"I discovered Bobo’s Oat Bars kind of on accident. I was trolling around the cereal aisle, looking for something quick for breakfast when these adorable little homemade squares caught my eye. I first tried the Coconut flavor and was immediately hooked. They are the perfect amount of very dense, very moist, slightly chewy rolled oats that are wheat free, vegan and fabulous with coffee! If you’re not a huge fan of gooey oatmeal or sugary cereal bars but still want the benefits of rolled oats, this is a perfect alternative. Picture them as individual bowls of oatmeal that have been condensed into bar form…no spoon required!

I was interested to know more about this product, so I went to the website (www.BobosOatBars.com) and got lots of information. The nutrition is as enlightening as the taste and texture! They come in 9 different flavors and are baked in Boulder, Colorado. If you’re in a breakfast rut, you HAVE to try these – they’re in our Gluten-Free section.

P.S. Gluten-free does not equal cardboard! Bobo’s Oat Bars will certainly prove this theory wrong through sheer deliciousness."
