Wow!

If you really like nutrition bars, I mean REALLY like nutrition bars - this is your time.

I have seen you...you pull up to the bar aisle near the Healthy Living department and stop to ponder. You gaze lovingly at all the magnificent choices you have. You zero in on that favorite bar and load them up into your basket - three, five, ten at a time. Well, here you go...

January at Central Market - you can buy a full box of bars (sorry, no mix and match) and get a 10% discount.  So load up!

During the holidays, I was working in the store near the nutrition bar area, and it was fun to talk with the people who were buying their various bars.

Some say they try  a new flavor each time, many zeroed in on their known favorites, and others just browsed, trying one of this and one of that.

People of all ages shop for bars. One woman was trying to find something for her dad as a gift, so we settled on trying the Larabar Cherry Pie bars (one for him and one for her), a Boundless Nutrition chocolate peanut bar - great on the protein and taste profiles, by the way - and a Kind Fruit & Nut Bar.

One older gentleman went straight to the Power Bars - chocolate is his favorite and the only one he buys. We chatted a bit and he decided to try the Boundless Nutrition bar as an experiment. A young girl looking for a snack picked up a Luna bar.

There really are bars for all palates. They can be the perfect thing to send to school with children for a mid-day snack, too.

If you already know which one you love, now is the time to stock up. If you don't, experiment!
