Here's the Good News - very, very good news: a large crop Canadian HoneyCrisp apples will arrive at in our produce departments this Thursday, January 15. These come from Glooscap farms, owned by the VanMeekeren Family out of Lakeville, Nova Scotia. HoneyCrisp apples are the VerMeekeren's specialty.

Nova Scotia is a prime growing region for HoneyCrisp apples and is known for late-season apples due to its cold climate. Much like the American Northwest, the ocean provides some temperature stability for a late crop.
We taste tested and these are the best eating HoneyCrisp we’ve received this year. They're ultra crisp and juicy with a fantastic balance of tart and sweet. HoneyCrisp apples are reasonably suited for baking, but really shine in a raw state. Chunk them in fresh salads or serve with chocolate or cheese for desert.
Don’t miss your last chance for this phenomenal apple!
