Take the Tour - Part 2

As The Tour de France heads into the home stretch, we are happy to provide three wines that seriously stretch your dollars and also co-ordinate with the the locations of the final three stages.

Stage 19 - Friday, July 24   Bourgoin-Jallieu to Aubenas:
This stage starts as close to Burgundy as the tour gets this year. Bougoin-Jallieu is just southeast of Lyon, the French capitol of gastronomy. Celebrate this region by taking advantage of a great deal on a perfect summer red. Burgundy Hills Pinot Noir is a light, pretty red that shows red fruit and earth. Chill it in the fridge for about 30 minutes and enjoy the terrior.
$14.95, Save $6!

Stage 20 - Saturday, July 25   Montelimar to Mont Ventoux:
The eastern edge of the Rhone will be traversed on this critical stage that includes the toughest climbs in The Tour climaxing at Mont Ventoux. We currently have another heat beating red on sale. Check out the 2006 Le Ferme Cotes du Rhone which has scents of black cherry, cedar and black pepper and red fruit and spice on the palate with a smooth finish. Again, chill it a bit and relax as you watch Lance leave his competitors in the dust again.
$7.95, Save $2!

There is only one way to celebrate this stage - do as Lance will be doing as he victoriously strolls down the Champs-Elysees, drink Champagne! CM has a beautiful, clean, true Champagne that is currently at a truly beautiful price not to be missed. Grab a bottle of Georges Lacombe Grande Cuvee and raise a toast to Lance and all of the money and awareness he and his foundation continue to raise for cancer!
$24.94, Save $15!

Remember, Central Market is proud to offer numerous fantastic official Livestrong items for purchase such as coffee mugs, teapots, thermoses, etc. that directly help The Lance Armstrong Foundation raise more money!
