Take a Chef home tonight at Central Market
With the introduction of three new sauces from Dean Fearing now at Central Market, you can take a chef home every time you shop. At least you can take some of Dean's signature sauces or dressings that is. The three new items are under Chef Dean Fearing's label and they are; All Fired Up Grilling and Dipping Sauce, Smoky Cumin Vinaigrette and BBQ Thousand Island Salad Dressing.
The All Fired Up BBQ Sauce received a first place Scovie Award at the Fiery Foods Competition and one taste wil show you why. It is a perfect blend of smoky, sweet and heat that will make any brisket thankful to be on your table. Chicken and sausages may never be same either with this flavorful accent and I still enjoy dipping my french fries in it too.
The Smoky Cumin Lime Vinaigrette adds zest to any green salad, but it also makes a wonderful marinade for light meats. I especially like it for marinating shrimp. The lime and cumin add real depth to shrimp without being overpowering, adding just the right balance of citrus and sweet from the hickory smoked onions and the faint maple syrup that lingers lighly on the palette.
But the real favorite of mine is the BBQ Thousand Island Dressing. I love it on tuna steaks and as a shrimp cocktail sauce. It is a great accent to potato salad or on a BLT sandwich. But if you are looking to dress up a wedge of iceberg lettuce, you have found the perfect match. Add some of your favorite bacon bits to top it off with and don't scrimp here. Buy the best of your favorites for this topping. The other option is some julienne strips of Westphalian or Black Forest Ham. This makes a salad a main event and elevates the oft maligned iceberg to the comfort food it really can be. Thanks for the inspiration Dean.
