I'm here in Cologne, Germany for the biggest candy trade show of the year. Called ISM (translated from German meaning the "International Sweet Goods Show") this annual trade-only event is the place to find the best new candy items from all over the world. As CM's candy buyer, I'm at the show meeting with current suppliers and developing relationships with new suppliers to bring items to shelf at Central Market. One of my objectives is to select items for sale this Christmas. I know it seems early but in the imported candy world it is right on time. I'm also looking for unique and great tasting everyday items.  I've found some really exciting things for us.  I'll share the details as we get closer to putting them in our stores. Gotta watch out for the spies. As always, we want to keep the best new items just for Central Market customers!
