What makes an Heirloom Navel Orange so special?

Our grower is convinced that by sustaining traditional cultural practices they are able to produce a navel orange with old time flavor and taste. Bud lines, rootstocks and terrior all play a role in how oranges taste.

These Heirloom Navel Oranges are grown on "old line" Washington Navel trees, combined with the appropriate sour or sweet rootstock and soil profile. This combination produces a truly memorable tasting piece of fruit. They haven’t come up with anything new in growing our Heirloom Navels, they are just farming them the way it was done 100 years ago.

Sometimes new and improved is not as good as the original.
