Have you checked out the Cooking School page at centralmarket.com lately? When you do, you’ll notice a change – and it’s pretty sweet! Not only can you get a quick glimpse of featured classes offered at our stores across Texas, but just on the first page you will see highlights from recent classes, you’ll find registration info to make your choice of class a little easier, and spotlights on some of the most interesting classes being offered at our Cooking Schools.

But that is only the beginning. Pick your store from the list on the left side of the page and you are transported to our new online registration. Yep, I said it – Online Cooking School Registration. No more leaving messages on the Cooking School phone number after hours, this new and improved way makes it a breeze to find the perfect class for you or your resident foodie on your own time!

Surf over to http://www.centralmarket.com/Cooking-School.aspx and take a look for yourself. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call your local Central Market for more information.

Some FAQ about our new online class registration, just for you!
What methods of payment do you accept ?
Our online system allows us to accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. If you plan to use a Central Market Gift Card or pay in cash, you will need to stop by the Cooking School. Please call ahead to be sure that someone will be in the office.

How does your waiting list work?
If a class is sold out, you can add your name to the waiting list; you will not be charged. If a seat becomes available, you will be notified via email and have the option to register at that time.

What is the best way to sign up for a class?
Click on the calendar, browse your options, click on the class your are interested in and just follow the direction of our shopping cart. Never hesitate to call should you have questions. Office hours vary in the cooking schools but if you leave a message, we will call you back as soon as a staff member is available.

Can I volunteer to help for a class?
Of course!!! Each school has a volunteer program. Simply submit your request via the “Contact Us” or call the Cooking School office for more information.
