Dungeons and Dragons and Wine, Oh My!

Written by Chris P., Wine and Beer Buyer on Wednesday, July 15 2009

Legend has it that back in the Middle Ages when evil Dragons roamed wild, a campaign was waged to rid the land of Dragons. With each Dragon killed, a Garnacha vine sprouted in the Dragons place and thus D'Aragon has many an Old Vine Garnacha!

At Central Market, we are committed to travelling and sourcing the best wines to carry in Texas.

Our latest find has finally arrived!

D'Aragon Old Vine Garnacha from Carinena, Spain for $8.95.

We source this great grilling red wine directly from the winery in Spain, allowing us to deliver the wine at much lower costs than wines of similar caliber.

This wine is not a mass-produced wine. This is hand-picked, carefully harvested Garnacha from the Northeastern region of Spain, and was aged for seven months in oak barrels.

The Garnacha has a deep cherry color with intense aromas of wild blackberries and balsamic flavors.

For less than $20, you can take advantage of 16oz of NY Strip Steak, sale $8.99lb, save $9.00 and 1 bottle of a perfect "Steak" red wine, D'Aragon Garnacha, $8.95!

There is limited supply of this wine so truly get it while it lasts! Enjoy Responsibly, cheers- Chris Potestio, Wine Buyer Central Market
